Out of the weeds: The first total synthesis of (−)-cannabimovone from Cannabis sativa and (+)-anhydrocannabimovone was achieved by means of a highly stereoselective gold(I)-catalyzed cycloisomerization. On this basis, the structure of anhydrocannabimovone was reassigned.
